Dave Warthen filed the Membership Report. The number of members is stable at 176. David Abraham’s name was removed due to his death. An updated club roster will be sent to members electronically at the end of July.
Ray listed the array of events ahead: An evening at Wolf Trap organized by Dottie Villers is set for Friday, August 1st. Twenty people have signed on which is the minimum number needed to qualify for group rates. A picnic is planned before the show on the theatre grounds or at Dottie’s if it rains. “I think it’s going to be a lot of fun,” said Dottie.

Ski Trip developments – Carolyn reported that 14 of 20 rooms reserved for the Snowmass trip (1/15-22/09) have been filled. The due date for deposits is August 15th, earlier than usual. The September TOOT deadline will be August 23rd. Marvin offered to send an email out to members in early August to remind them of upcoming events. Everyone agreed that that was a great idea. Marvin said that Ham Morton, a former member of PVS, passed away in June. Longtime friend Bill Anderson has been asked to write a piece about Ham for TOOT. Reg Heitchue will be writing a commemorative piece about David Abraham for TOOT as well.
